Suzanne

Suzanne Haggard has over twenty-two
(22) years of consulting experience in healthcare
management. Suzanne began her career as a public
accounting auditor with an emphasis in healthcare
auditing. Her experiences include hospital Chief
Financial Officer responsible for all phases of
the financial and revenue cycle processes of a multi-disciplinary
acute care hospital. In her role as CFO, Suzanne
was also responsible for the consolidated financial
reporting of affiliated entities, including a physician
management company, reference lab, home health agency,
foundation, and full service retirement community,
including independent living, assisted living and
nursing home facilities. Suzanne also served as
the internal project manager for key initiatives
including Y2K compliance, design and implementation
of a corporate compliance program, bond refinancing
(hospital was one of fourteen hospitals in the country
given a bond upgrade during this particular year),
and financial analysis and strategic response to
government reimbursement changes (e.g. SNF PPS and
OPPS). As a healthcare consultant, Suzanne has engaged
in diverse roles drawing on her own healthcare experience
ranging form revenue cycle assessments to project
manager to interim management services.
