Insurance Verification and Pre-certification
Another area where we assess, redesign
and make improvements is your insurance verification and
pre-certification methods. We work with you to determine
if your patient access department performs insurance verification
and pre-certification in advance of scheduled procedures,
such as surgery, radiology and cath lab procedures, as
well as obtains the co-insurance and deductible requirements
in conjunction with pre-certification to assist in upfront
cash collections. We also help you determine why you may
be denied reimbursement by reviewing your insurance remittance
advices.
